Your new companyAn opportunity has arisen to join a specialist fund management company that takes pride in their excellent culture and approach to making money. The organisation has been in business since the early 90s and is listed on the London Stock Exchange. They are an independent business and pride themselves on the excellent service they offer to their customers. They have offices in multiple locations.Your new roleA Business Analyst/ Scrum Master is urgently required to join the organisation to work on a high-profile Data Transformation programme. The aim of the programme is to introduce a new data platform to the organisation to improve the data ingestion and data quality within the organisation, especially for reporting purposes. The organisation is currently in the process of transforming to Agile ways of working, so the Business Analyst/ Scrum Master will also assist with the adoption of this. This is a multi-year programme. The first delivery will focus on performance attribution and reporting. The Business Analyst/ Scrum Master will be required to work closely with the senior management and key business stakeholders to build on the current Data vision capability and requirements definition. They will work with the stakeholders, data and external partners to prioritise, size and plan delivery against the backlog on a quarterly basis. The Business Analyst/ Scrum Master will be required to build and maintain effective relationships with teams across the business, maintaining a clear understanding of the business needs and requirements. They will bridge the gap between the Data team and external parties. They will be responsible for sprint prioritisation, planning and delivery. Work collaboratively with key business stakeholders, the data team and external partners to break down quarterly priorities into sprints and drive efficient and effective delivery of priorities through facilitating daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings. Identify, resolve and escalate issues and blockers as appropriate to maintain desired delivery velocity.What you'll need to succeed

  • Strong Business Analysis experience
  • Excellent Agile knowledge - ideally having worked in the capacity of a Scrum Master previously
  • Agile certification is nice to have
  • Experience of working on data platform implementation programmes previously
  • Good knowledge of the asset management industry
  • Solid senior level stakeholder engagement skills
