As A Business Development Coordinator at VML Enterprise Solutions you will work with the Growth and Marketing teams in providing support across multiple functions.

This is an opportunity for someone either starting out or early on in their career who is keen to enter the exciting world of commerce, experience and marketing technology, rapidly proving yourself with your direct team and the C-suite, and in time progressing within a dynamic, fast growing company.

What you’ll be doing:

Business Development

  • Manage and support pitch teams to prepare pitch documents and presentations
  • Coordinate the production of accurate RFI/P responses to ensure the brief instructions are followed:

o Source information from across the business and group, proof-read and collate in PPT, Excel or Word format

o Coordination and administration ownership for each response: Schedule kick off / catch up / review meetings, monitor progress, organise and stay on top of team to ensure deadlines are met

o Assist with the creation of commercials

  • Compile base decks / introductory PPT decks (that are industry & capability specific) to a good design standard
  • Brief and manage designers in the production of PPT decks
  • Support Marketing in the creation of new pitch collateral and credentials

Reporting & internal communications

  • Accurately update in-house Salesforce database
  • Generate reports for Executives and departments across WTC (e.g. Resourcing, Finance) and wider WT group
  • Run and participate in weekly internal global update calls
  • Create and manage pre-sales timesheet codes and reporting
  • Assist with new business resourcing requests (e.g. raise tickets on Jira)
  • Build relationships with partners and other departments (Partner Sales, Marketing, Customer Experience, Business Services, Consultancy, Partnerships etc.) and wider WT/WPP group to help grow the pipeline and ensure the current pipeline is up to date, and assist on inter-agency pitches
  • Create and circulate monthly growth emails, to update relevant internal teams on current RFP responses and recent new business material

Support

  • Respond quickly to internal requests
  • Support the business development team on calls and in meetings, minute taking and following up on agreed actions
  • Arrange calls and meetings, both internal and with new business prospects.
  • Manage business development team diaries and meeting room bookings
  • Provide other ad hoc support for business development team and wider business (including company stakeholders)
  • Make travel arrangements and assist with concierge matters, e.g. taxis & restaurant bookings.
  • Carry out background research on exciting prospects
  • Manage other projects alongside day-to-day role when required
  • Gain and maintain industry and competitor knowledge

New Business process improvements & optimisation

  • Continuous improvement of the current RFP proposal response process, to ensure it is as streamlined, coherent and efficient as possible
  • Identify any gaps within the process and implement new processes to address these
  • Consistently following a similar framework and structure across all responses to ensure the team are on the right track
  • Manage and organise the sales repository (case studies, creds, partner slides, certification stats etc.) on Sharepoint drives and ensure this is kept as up to date as possible with a clear and simple structure
  • Communicate any new process changes to relevant stakeholders

Events

  • Provide support at industry conferences/sales & marketing events -?manage the team’s attendance, liaise with event organisers to agree package, cost, itineraries etc.
  • Organise corporate hospitality/team events for new business and clients
  • Create briefing documents, manage invites and assist with post-event follow up
  • Awareness of the ecommerce events calendar

  • Accuracy, timeliness & reliability in all data management and reporting
