We are searchingfor a superstar Assistant General Manager for our latest opening:BAM x LDN

We are Europe's Largest Karaoke venue, and since 2014, over 1.1 million customers have sung with us, experiencing our 8 BAM houses across Europe:

5 in Paris (Madeleine, Richer, Sentier, Parmentier, Etoile)

1 in Bordeaux (Chartrons)

2 in Madrid (Recoletos, Luchana)

And now, 1 in London (Victoria, just to start with!)

At BAM Karaoke Box, we want to pioneer premium luxury karaoke within London's entertainment, dining, and social scene. Nestled in Victoria, BAM, short for Bote Musique, merges private karaoke with Parisian sophistication.

Spanning more than 10,000 sq ft, BAM Victoria will stand as Europe's largest karaoke venue, boasting 22 private rooms, the BAM BAM bar, an outdoor terrace, a live music stage, and a unique concept where each room has its own identity and style. We're here to set a new standard for opulent entertainment in the UK.

The size of the operation doesnt mean a compromise on quality. We're collaborating with exceptional partners, such as architects Brady Williams, drinks consultant Julian de Feral and executive chef Sabrina Gidda, to curate an environment, food and drink experience that suits the discerning, central London audience.


As an Assistant General Manager,at BAM Karaoke Box, you will be...

Operational Excellence:

Supporting the day-to-day operations of the venue, ensuring smooth running,andseamless service standardsandvery high-quality client experience.

Maintaining high hygiene standards and safety protocols, prioritizing the well-being of the team and guests.

Overseeing the implementation of innovative strategies to enhance team dynamics and operational efficiency.


HR and People Management:

Fostering transparent and effective communication among staff to exceed guest expectations.

Inspiring, empowering, and mentoring the team to elevate guest experiences and maintain high standards.

Developing programs for personal and professional growth, nurturing a culture of improvement.


Profitability Management:

Analysing financial reports, controlling costs, and maximising profitability while managing budgets effectively.

Implementing strategies to optimise revenue and training your team to meet and exceed objectives in F&B and entertainment activities.


Collaboration and Representation:

Collaborating with other departments, teams, and stakeholders both locally and internationally.

Assistas BAMs representative in London, supporting the management of key relationships with suppliers, clients, and partners.


Qualities you'll bring to the team:

Leadership and Management:The AGM needs to lead by example, overseeing day-to-day operations, delegating tasks, and supervising the team to ensure smooth operations.

Communication Skills:Clear and effective communication is vital for coordinating with theGeneral Manager, HODs, and other departments, as well as ensuring customer satisfaction.

Customer Service Focus:Prioritising guest satisfaction by resolving issues, maintaining high service standards, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.

Financial Acumen:Understanding budgets, analysing financial reports, controlling costs, and maximising profitability.

Team Building and Training:Developing and mentoring staff, conducting training sessions, and fostering a positive work environment to ensure a motivated and skilled team.

Problem-Solving Abilities:Handling challenges efficiently, whether it's addressing customer complaints, managing inventory, or resolving staffing issues.

Adaptability and Flexibility:Being able to adapt to changing circumstances, fluctuating customer demands, and industry trends.

Organisation and Time Management:Managing schedules, overseeing inventory, and ensuring that operations run smoothly within set timeframes.

Technical Capability:A basic understanding of sound and music technology, as well as the ability to fully utilise and understand the relevant technical/I.T equipment.

Knowledge of Industry Regulations:Understanding and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, liquor licensing laws, and other regulations.

Attention to Detail:Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and quality control in both the front and back of the house.

Sales and Marketing Skills:Contributing ideas and strategies to increase revenue, drive promotions, and attract customers.

Calm focus and positivity:Our venues can be high-pressure environments; the ability to stay calm and focused during busy times is crucial.


The Ideal candidate must:

Have at least 3-5 years of experience at a GM or AGM level, ideally from a premium bar, restaurant, hotel or entertainment venue background.

Have experience in directly managing a large team of more than 40.

Have a proven track record of delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Ideally have experience within training and/or new openings.
