Prestige Staffing Limited is a recruitment agency which specialises in supporting adults and children with learning disabilities and their families across London. We provide a range of support, from a few hours a week up to round-the clock care.

Our services include supported living, domiciliary care, outreach, short breaks, family, and community support. We help people we support and their families to choose whats right for them.

About the role:


The Assistant Team Manager assists the Team Manager to lead a team to provide the best possible care and support for people living within a supported housing or registered care service and enables people to stay healthy, be safe, and live well.
We are looking for Assistant Team Managers who have excellent organisational and communication skills. Applicants will need to have experience of working with people with Learning Disabilities, Mental Health, Autism or PMLD (profound & multiple disabilities).

We are looking for people who have a good understanding of the needs of people with learning disabilities and can work collaboratively to achieve our goals. The ideal candidates will be able to self-motivate and work independently.

You will be collaborating with the Team Manager to ensure effective management and coordination of a high quality, person led service, you will also be responsible for managing the shift rotas. You will be at the forefront of our services and need to promote Prestige Staffing core values, with a passion for supporting and caring, as well as the drive and energy to raise standards of support and service delivery.

All applicants should be computer literate and have or are working towards a Social Care qualification or equivalent. You must be willing to work alternate weekends and shifts alongside their team.

About you:
The ideal candidate will be a well organised person with the ability to deliver successful outcomes. You will be confident at building relationships and hold excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

You must be able to demonstrate the ability to develop strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. As a self-starter, you will be able to use your own initiative, can problem solve and prioritise, with good planning and organisational skills. In addition, you will need a positive, resilient attitude, be able to work under pressure, meet deadlines and be flexible and adaptable.
