Deputy General Manager - Premium Health and Fitness Club

to £44,000+ £10K bonus Notting Hill

We are looking for a Deputy General Manager to oversee all things service and operational in one of the most exclusive family focused, health and racquets clubs in West London. You will get to join the club at a very exciting time for the team and the members as there is about to be a £5m capital investment into the club transforming the already high-profile club into one of West London's luxury wellness destinations. You will direct manage the front of house, Spa, maintenance and cleaning teams and the club administrator. As the number 2 to the GM, you will typically work opposite shifts to the GM and will be responsible for running the full club operation providing an outstanding platform for your own career development in a business that is renowned for developing their own GM's internally with ongoing training and support.

We are very to hear from candidates with the following experience and attributes:

  • Premium Fitness, sports, leisure or hospitality industry experience as a Club Manager, Centre Manager or General Manager looking to join and progress with a bigger organisation or an exceptional Deputy General Manager, Operations Manager or Member Experience Manager ready for the next step.
  • Have a passion and flair for coaching, inspiring, mentoring and developing talent.
  • Comprehensive experience in managing health and safety and a multi-faceted premium leisure operation.
  • Constantly looking at ways and opportunities to enhance the member experience.
  • Promptly and proactively responding to and resolving member queries and complaints.
  • Managing and developing successful partnerships with third party contractors and suppliers.
  • Have strong commercial awareness and experience of setting targets and managing significant budgets.
  • A flexible approach to work, able to work duty management shifts with a 6am start and 1 in 2 weekends.
  • Passionate about health and fitness.
