Fitness to Practice Operational Manager - Regulatory Body.

1 Year contract. Maternity cover.

£54 000 to £58 000. Pro rata.

Hybrid. 2 days in the office. Based near to Elephant and Castle.

Lead, motivate, and provide strategic direction to a multidisciplinary team, managing fitness to practice cases and administrative support. You’ll play a key role in driving improvements, collaborating with the Fitness to Practice management team to embed change and ensure regulatory standards are met.

Working for one of the UK’s leading regulatory bodies.

Key Responsibilities of the Fitness to Practice Operational Manager:

  • Collaborate with the Head of Fitness to Practice and other managers.
  • Deliver strategic goals and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Analyze data to identify risks and proactively solve operational issues.
  • Implement agile strategies to anticipate regulatory changes and improve processes.
  • Ensure regulatory decisions are robust, consistent.
  • Meet public protection objectives.
  • Manage team performance, providing direction & coaching.
  • Promote a high-performance culture.
  • Work closely with stakeholders and represent the organization.
  • Support the department's equality, diversity, and inclusion goals.
  • Deputize for the Head of Fitness to Practice when required.

This role combines leadership, strategic planning, and hands-on management to ensure high-quality service delivery and regulatory compliance.
