Are you ready to make a significant impact in the charity sector? We are looking for a passionate and experienced General Manager to lead our client's organisation. This role offers a unique opportunity to drive strategic initiatives and operational excellence. You will oversee core shared services, ensuring efficient and effective delivery to support our growth ambitions. This role is on a 3 day a week basis with flexibility how this is worked, hybrid, City of London base with some travel to other regional office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise with the Executive Committee and facilitate strategic planning.
  • Ensure effective governance and implement performance management.
  • Manage core service lines and build strong relationships with partners.
  • Oversee critical outsourced functions and lead a high-performing team.
  • Maintain financial health and ensure legal compliance.

Key Challenges

Key Relationships & Stakeholders

  • Executive Committee, Board, Partners, and Suppliers.

Performance Metrics

  • Delivering the Business Plan, employee retention, and regulatory compliance.

Role Requirements

  • Extensive senior-level business management experience.
  • Proven track record in overseeing HR, finance, and communications.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
