Prospectus is delighted to be supporting a charity in the mental health space to recruit for an Interim Director of Services to join their team until September 2025. This role will take the lead on resolving identified issues within some of their locally commissioned services and turning around the quality of delivery and reporting. Please note, this role is offered on remote basis but with the expectation of some occasional time spent in their London Office and in areas where services are delivered.
Working closely with the Executive Director of Operations, the postholder will create and deliver a plan that addresses a range of identified issues related to service delivery and outcomes. Some of these priorities include the need to enhance contract compliance and enhance relationships with commissioners, whilst ensuring that existing service structures are fit for purpose in terms of capacity/skills vs. contract requirements, improving adoption of CRM reporting and information governance and embedding a programme of culture change across services. You will identify and lead on recommendations for the best course of action that ultimately ensure that services meet minimum financial contribution levels and performance.
The right candidate will be immediately available and will have a robust track record in working with underperforming frontline services and turning them around. You will thrive in embedding sustained improvement in service operations and systems and relish working with teams and people to bring about positive culture change. To be successful, the next interim Services Director will have experience of successfully delivering commissioned health and social care services. Although not essential, exposure or expertise in Advocacy services would be beneficial.
