Regional Manager, Foodservice Retailer, South of England, Up to £80,000 plus package

This client is a leading wholesale and foodservice retail business, delivering exceptional service to a wide range of customers across the UK. With over 100 years in the industry, you will not want to miss the opportunity to join this business.

As part of their continued expansion, they are looking for an experienced and results-driven Regional Manager to oversee Area Managers across the South of the UK.

This role covers from Wales through to London and Kent, so will involve travelling and trade visits.

Regional Manager responsibilities include:

  • Lead, mentor, and support Area Managers to achieve regional targets, ensuring the successful execution of business strategies and goals.
  • Track performance metrics, KPIs, and sales targets across all locations, providing regular feedback to Area Managers.
  • Ensure all branches adhere to company standards, policies, and procedures, driving consistency in service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the senior leadership team to identify growth opportunities within the region, both in terms of market share and profitability.
  • Oversee regional budgets, cost controls, and profitability, working closely with finance teams to monitor performance.
  • Maintain and enhance strong relationships with key clients, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction in line with business goals.
  • Ensure all stores comply with legal, health & safety, and environmental regulations.

The Ideal Regional Manager

  • Proven experience in a regional or senior management role within wholesale, foodservice, or retail.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and drive a multi-site team.
  • Excellent financial acumen with experience managing budgets and P&Ls.
  • Ability to analyze performance data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to travel frequently across the South of the UK.
