The Interim SEND Team Manager will oversee the SEN Placements and a Phased Transfer processes for the SEND department of a London Borough.

Key Responsibilities of the interim SEND Team Manager:

  • Ensure statutory deadlines, processes and procedures are followed and the caseloads of the team are fulfilled, allocated and managed
  • Oversee the placements and phased transfers – approx. 200 cases in total, 0-year 8
  • Line management of 11 team members
  • Support the team whilst restructures take place

Skills and experience required of the interim SEND Team Manager:

  • Strong line management and experience leading am SEND team
  • Phased transfer experience is also essential
  • Enhanced DBS
  • Must be able to display excellent working knowledge of Children’s and Families act and SEND Code of Conduct
