A successful Commercial Property company with an impressive portfolio of properties across London, totalling over 5 million Sq. Ft, is looking for an experienced Assistant Building Manager to work across a small portfolio of its design led buildings. As an Assistant Building Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in the day-to-day management of the buildings and will collaborate closely with the Building Manager. You will oversee various aspects, including recruitment and team management, service provision, and stakeholder engagement plus ensuring compliance with all Health, Safety and Environmental legislation, company policy and guidelines.   • Occupier liaison and relationship management.
  • People and team management.
  • Initiating and implementing improvements.
  • Accounting and budgetary responsibilities including preparing and managing the service charge budget.
  • Overseeing the M&E service contracts ensuring that all records are maintained.
  • Management and monitoring of cleaning and soft services.
  • Assist in managing all Repairs, maintenance, and building works coordination.
  • Emergency management and liaison with external bodies.
  • Fire precautions and health & safety compliance.
  • Lettings support and sustainability initiatives.
  • Quality management and compliance with GDPR policies.

The ideal Assistant Building Manager will have at least 3 years previous experience as a Facilities Manager / Centre Manager / Assistant Building Manager.In return, the role is offering up to £45,000 per annum, depending on experience. Plus a discretionary annual bonus, private medical insurance and a generous pension scheme.
