Description

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the Executive Director (ED), handling complex issues and leading meetings when appropriate.
  • Provide briefings for the ED, take notes and actions as required, and prepare written and verbal reports to ensure the ED is well-informed.
  • Drive and implement processes aligned with Bank-wide policies and business frameworks.
  • Ensure that performance and business management activities align with the broader strategic agenda of the Bank.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the Bank in the planning and management of business support activities, projects, and processes.
  • Oversee people planning, including capability, engagement, and communication strategies.
  • Prepare and review relevant management information (MI) and conduct data analysis.
  • Support the ED by preparing materials and presentations for Board/Executive Management Committee and other governance committees.
  • Manage day-to-day relationships and appointments for the ED with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead multiple projects related to business origination, client coverage, or strategic initiatives for the ED.
  • Create, automate, and update reports and analyses, ensuring consistency and accuracy in visual and written content.
  • Process data to provide insights and detailed analyses.
  • Handle business planning tasks, including meeting preparation, agenda articulation, and message development.
  • Manage ad hoc projects as needed.

Profile

The successful Candidate:

  • In-depth analytical skills to enable delivery of complex information
  • Excellent verbal and written business and report writing skills
  • Ability to work across levels of stakeholders and build relationships
  • Strong initiative and judgement skill with an outcomes-based capability of identifying problems and driving solutions
  • Strong influencing and negotiating skills
  • To have the ability to process data to provide insight and indept analyses
  • Able to work with limited supervision and under pressure
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-pacing and demanding environment
  • Experience managing multiple business initiatives.
  • Background in the financial sector within the UK and emerging markets.
  • Proven experience working with C-Suite Executives.
  • Track record of identifying and implementing process improvements.
  • Strong networking and stakeholder relationship-building capabilities.
  • Knowledge of financial products and commercial transactional experience.
