Facilities Manager (Technical Bias) - Client-Side - Canary Wharf

Are you a technically skilled Facilities Manager looking for a client-side role with a prestigious developer? This is an exciting opportunity to oversee a large-scale, mixed-use site in the heart of Canary Wharf, managing commercial, residential, and retail spaces.

The Role

As Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of this high-profile estate. Your technical expertise will be crucial in maintaining building infrastructure, overseeing M&E services, and managing service providers to deliver exceptional standards across all areas of the development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the day-to-day facilities management of commercial, residential, and retail elements.
  • Ensure the effective delivery of M&E and technical services across the estate.
  • Manage contractors and service providers, ensuring compliance with SLAs and KPIs.
  • Lead on planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring minimal disruption to occupiers.
  • Drive sustainability initiatives and energy efficiency improvements.
  • Maintain health & safety compliance across all areas of the site.
  • Act as a key point of contact for stakeholders, tenants, and residents.
About You
  • Strong technical/FM background, ideally with M&E expertise.
  • Experience managing large-scale, mixed-use developments.
  • Client-side or managing agent experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage contractors and deliver high service standards.
  • NEBOSH/IOSH or equivalent health & safety qualification is desirable.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
