Our client, a leading property consultancy known for delivering exceptional service and specialising in managing high-end residential and commercial properties, is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee operations and ensure the highest standards of service delivery. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong background in facilities management and customer service.

  • Lead and supervise the Front of House team, ensuring compliance with service standards and conducting regular audits.
  • Monitor building security, ensuring only authorised individuals have access.
  • Identify and report any building defects, coordinating prompt action for necessary repairs.
  • Conduct regular building inspections to ensure staff are performing duties correctly, implementing corrective measures as needed.
  • Maintain up-to-date records for contractors, health and safety logs, and compliance documentation.
  • Attend meetings with clients, residents, and contractors, producing and distributing minutes accordingly.
  • Manage procurement processes in line with company policies, ensuring cost efficiency and service quality.
  • Utilise relevant systems for job tracking, supplier performance monitoring, and reporting.
  • Act as the main point of contact for all facilities management enquiries, ensuring prompt and professional responses.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, addressing issues efficiently and liaising with senior management as required.
  • Monitor contractor performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and service expectations.
  • Maintain effective relationships with on-site staff and stakeholders, ensuring seamless service delivery.
  • Ensure the safety and security of properties through proactive risk management and compliance monitoring.
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment inspections, maintenance, and statutory compliance requirements.
  • Report and address any safety incidents, assisting in investigations and implementing preventive measures.
  • Keep up to date with health and safety legislation and best practices, ensuring compliance across all sites.
  • Supervise the delivery of on-site services, addressing any issues efficiently.
  • Act as an escalation point for facilities management concerns, ensuring timely resolutions.
  • Manage contractor relationships, monitoring service levels and negotiating contracts as necessary. Ensure contractors adhere to site rules and health and safety regulations.
  • Oversee minor works projects, ensuring high-quality completion.
  • Maintain communal areas to the highest standards, conducting regular inspections.

Experience:

  • Ideally three years’ experience in Facilities Management.
  • Proven track record in delivering excellent customer service.
  • experience managing a service charge budget
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • IOSH qualification preferred.
