Facilities Manager

Central London

£45,000 - £50,000

Hexagon Group has an exciting opportunity for a Facilities Manager to join a growing property management company. Over time, they have built a strong reputation and boast an excellent staff retention rate. In this role, you will work closely with another Facilities Manager to manage a high-end portfolio of residential and commercial properties across Central London.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise on-site concierge and front-of-house teams, oversee staff training.
  • Manage contractor performance to ensure service quality and compliance.
  • Maintain asset registers, schedule statutory inspections, oversee security and access control systems, and implement risk assessment action plans.
  • Serve as the primary contact for FM services, liaise with clients, and contractors, and attend relevant meetings to address concerns.
  • Conduct routine site inspections, ensure cleanliness of communal areas, monitor building defects, and coordinate necessary repairs.
  • Keep accurate records of compliance systems, enforce control measures, and report incidents or near-misses promptly.
  • Assist in preparing and managing service charge budgets, ensuring financial accountability and cost control.
  • Provide regular updates on site operations, document key issues, and ensure adherence to relevant policies and procedures.

Ideally, you will have extensive experience in a similar role, preferably overseeing the management of commercial and residential properties. You will have a strong understanding of health & safety, with at least an IOSH certificate as a minimum. Additionally, while formal qualifications in hard services are not necessary, a solid knowledge of this area is beneficial along with an understanding of service charge budgets.
