Our client is a large local government organisation and looking for an experienced Facilities professional to overlook their Hard Services. This is initially a 3 month contract which may be extended for the right applicant.

You will

• Oversee and monitor the operational elements of Hard Services contracts to ensure full compliance with contract requirements and effective, efficient and cost-effective service delivery.

• Act as the technical point of contact for Service Providers to resolve escalated issues and complaints, provide technical advice and ensure Service Providers take corrective actions.

• Support the planning, delivery and coordination of the Council’s reactive technical maintenance delivery for buildings, to contribute to the development and implementation of effective property management strategies.

• Ensure services are delivered safely through monitoring, reviewing competencies, and implementing safe work processes, to maintain a safe working environment and comply with health and safety regulations.

• Conduct regular audits of buildings and processes, to identify and rectify issues with service delivery by Service Providers.

• Provide regular service reporting to relevant stakeholders, to keep them informed about service performance and identify areas for improvement.

• Liaise with other areas of the Council to ensure policy compliance to effectively implement Council governance. • Develop and implement contractor performance and procurement strategies to enhance supplier performance and deliver effective procurement processes.

• Oversee and monitor Service Providers to ensure effective service delivery, to deliver high-quality services that meet contractual requirements and provide value for money.

• Provide strong technical leadership to ensure successful delivery of operations and support the development and implementation of the facilities strategy.

• Develop policies and procedures for Operational Property and Facilities Management to ensure compliance with relevant requirements for Hard FM services
