My client is seeking a proactive Maintenance Shift Engineer with technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and a strong commitment to safety and compliance.

• Oversee the daily operation of the Maintenance operation to ensure the smooth running of each shift

• Support the Chief Engineer with designing and implementing the strategic direction for the Maintenance department.

• In conjunction with the Maintenance Co-ordinator, oversee the planning and delegation of the maintenance work schedule to ensure optimum staff levels

• To prepare specifications and proposals for maintenance work required

• Arrange and co-ordinate work with contractors, ensuring it is completed to the required standard

• Previous experience, ideally within the hospitality industry.

• Ability to identify and implement engineering improvements across the hotel.

• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations in the workplace.

• Flexibility to work various shifts, including night shifts.
