I am partnering with a leading FM service provider who are seeking to hire two experienced Building Services Maintenance Supervisors to oversee a team of engineers and technicians in a multi-tenant commercial office building. This role involves managing day-to-day maintenance operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and delivering a high standard of service to tenants and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise a team of M&E maintenance engineers and technicians, ensuring efficient operations and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).

Oversee and coordinate planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance for building services systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire alarms, and security systems.

Act as the first point of contact for technical escalations, troubleshooting complex mechanical and electrical faults.

Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health and safety regulations, risk assessments, and company policies.

Manage contractor activities, ensuring work is completed to a high standard and within agreed time frames.

Conduct regular site inspections to assess equipment performance, identify potential issues, and implement preventive solutions.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, asset conditions, and repairs using computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS).

Liaise with building management, tenants, and stakeholders to ensure excellent service delivery and minimal disruption to operations.

Support the Facilities Manager in preparing budgets, managing costs, and optimising energy efficiency within the building.

Provide technical training and mentorship to the maintenance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Participate in emergency response planning and ensure that all team members are trained in crisis procedures.
Skills & Experience Required:
- NVQ / C&G Level 3 in Electrical field

18th Edition Wiring Regulations (for electrically biased candidates).

Proven experience in commercial building maintenance, with supervisory or team leadership experience.
