Scheduling Manager - Social Housing Repairs & Maintenance

Full time, permanent

Based in Stratford, East London

£33,000 - £35,000 per annum

Here at Howells, we are working with a leading social housing repairs & maintenance contractor to recruit a successful and proactive Scheduling Manager to join their team based in Stratford.

As the Scheduling Manager, you will oversee the full customer service function for the Repairs & Maintenance Contractor, including planning / scheduling, customer care, and complaint handling.

You will manage a team of Planners and Call Handlers, to ensure customers are in receipt of a satisfactory level of customer service exceeding customers' expectations.

Key Criteria:

  • Previous experience in social housing repairs and maintenance
  • Experience managing a planning function for a mobile workforce, ideally within the Social Housing / Facilities Management sector although all sector backgrounds will be considered
  • Experience driving customer service best practice and complaint resolution
  • Strong people management skills
  • Advanced IT Skills including planning software
  • Ability to lead, influence and direct a team
  • Ability to build and nurture strong working relationships with colleagues based at other sites/offices
