The role of Commercial & Contracts Manager for Security Services is located in London and offers a rate of £600-650 per day, inside IR35.
This is a 6-month contract position that requires candidates to have current Security Clearance (SC) due to the urgency of the role.
The successful candidate will focus on re-procuring the Security Services Contract while managing general contract duties to ensure compliance with service specifications.
Essential criteria include experience managing a similar services contract, knowledge of health and safety policies, and strong negotiating skills.
Candidates should ideally have a minimum of 5 years of experience in relevant fields, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office standard packages.

Security Clearance: Due to the urgency of the role the client ideally needs candidates with current Security Clearance (SC)
Overview:
Our government client is looking for a commercial and contracts manager to help focus on re-procuring their Security Services Contract. The client will also be looking to have the role support business as usual - general contract management duties to support the wider team to ensure that the outsourced contract delivers against the service specification to quality and cost as stipulated in the contract.
Essential Criteria:

Experience of managing a services contract of this nature and scale
Experience of security services
Knowledge of relevant: health and safety, environmental and sustainability policies.
Demonstrable Negotiating Skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft office standard packages.

Desirable:

Understanding of HMG approved physical or electronic security infrastructure.
Hold or working towards recognised qualifications in Facilities Management (IWFM as an example). Or membership of a FM professional body or related security / building industry qualification.
Hold or be working towards recognised contract management qualifications
IOSH managing safely qualification.
Understanding of operational maintenance programmes in a security context
