An exciting opportunity for a Shift Leader to work for a leading FM service provider in a critical environment in Canary Wharf. Working for a highly esteemed maintenance provider on a renowned contract, the Shift Leader will work a Continental Shift managing a team of Shift Engineers carrying out all the planned and reactive maintenance within a critical environment.The Electrically biased leader will hold a proven career history within building services maintenance, with the ability to lead a team to successfully deliver contractually required levels of service delivery.A highly rewarding position with all the opportunities to progress within the company, this is an employer who invests heavily in their staff and always prefers to promote from within.Duties:

  • Completing logbooks and RAMS
  • Reports
  • Attending client meetings
  • Liaising with client representatives in respect of corrective repair works.
  • Permits to work
  • Raise and close jobs on PDA's as necessary.
  • Endorse safe working practices, quality standards conformity and best practice methods.
  • Carry out isolation of plant and systems in accordance with safety requirements.
  • Ensure corrective/repair works are carried out in accordance with regulations.
  • Carry out and manage planned preventative maintenance across HV and LV systems, UPS, Generators, associated plant and equipment, HVAC cooling / heating systems covering CRAC units.
  • Monitor BMS and other systems for running and alarm conditions

Requirements:

  • City & Guilds Electrical Installations Level 3 / NVQ or equivalent qualification
  • Willingness to become an HV Authorised Person HVAP
  • Critical site experience preferable (Data Centre or Banking Sites)
  • Client Management
  • Ability to manage a team
  • Building Services Maintenance experience
