IDEX Consulting is working with one of the UK's leading pension consulting firms in the search for a Pensions Calculations Analyst in their DB schemes team. The role has arisen due to continued growth and recent external investment.This firm has invested in excellent staff retention rate, clear progression plans and opportunities in different teams, they are focused on culture and making sure everyone is supported with a solid career plan. You will be a conscientious individual with exceptional attention to detail, with a passion for delivering a quality product to our customers and have the ability to build strong relationships internally and externally and work to demanding deadlines and targets.Responsibilities:

  • As a Pensions Administrator, you will manage and maintain the administration aspects of defined benefit and defined contribution pension schemes
  • You will work with the existing team to improve operational efficiency e.g., automation, full use of standard products
  • You will act as the contact for an agreed list of administrative projects, such as supporting the end-to-end process of scheme installations and resolving administrative queries from our clients
  • You will maintain and develop client relationships, conduct client demonstrations of our software, and assist with building out administrative processes and accompanying documentation Desirable:
  • Broad pension's technical knowledge, with experience working in a Defined Benefit (including CARE) and Defined Contribution pension administration environment
  • You should have a good understanding of defined benefit pensions schemes and UK pensions legislation, regulation, and codes of practice
  • Experience across different administration businesses and pension administration platforms
  • Certified by Pension Management Institute in Certificate in Pensions Calculations, or APMI
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral with the ability to articulate and communicate current and relevant issues to relevant stakeholders.
  • The ability to perform in a fast-moving environment providing excellent service to clients and third parties with a desire to succeed at accomplishing objectives.
