Sonic Summary
- A Global Financial Services organization is seeking a Senior Data Analyst for their London team, offering a salary between £60K - £65K.
- This permanent position involves providing critical Data & Analytics support to the Transformation Program with a preference for immediate starters.
- Key responsibilities include leading data analysis, working with Data Specialist teams, and creating functional and technical documentation.
- Candidates should have a degree in Computer Science or Engineering and possess 5-7 years of experience in Data and Analytics, with insurance experience being highly desirable.
- Strong skills in Cloud Data Solutions, particularly GCP, SQL, and either Python or R, along with experience in Data Governance and Master Data Management, are required.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead the analysis of existing and target data & reporting assets, working alongside the
Data Specialist teams
- Will work closely with the Data Project's Systems Data Architect and Data Solution
Consultant in the gathering and documenting of Enterprise reporting requirements and
translation of those into technical requirements, and analysis to identify any gaps in
data availability and quality.
- Data analysis and exploration, data mapping and logical data modelling, reporting &
integration initiatives on Cloud platforms such as GCP
- Creating functional and technical documentation (data integration architecture
documentation, data testing plans)
- Design and develop a reporting user experience
- Conduct Gap Analysis
Skills and Experience:
- Degree Educated in Computer Science / Engineering
- At least 5-7 years experience in Data and Analytics
- Insurance experience is highly-desirable
- Strong Cloud Data Solutions experience - GCP, SQL and either Python or R
- Experience with Data Mining and exploration, AI/ML a bonus
- Experience with Data Governance - Master Data Management and Data Quality
