Global Financial Services organisation is hiring for a Senior Data Analyst for their team based in London. This is a key role to provide critical Data & Analytics support to the Transformation Program. This is a permanent role based in the City and paying between 60K - 65K with hybrid working. This role is urgent, so immediate starters would be preferable.

Responsibilities include:

- Lead the analysis of existing and target data & reporting assets, working alongside the
Data Specialist teams
- Will work closely with the Data Project's Systems Data Architect and Data Solution
Consultant in the gathering and documenting of Enterprise reporting requirements and
translation of those into technical requirements, and analysis to identify any gaps in
data availability and quality.
- Data analysis and exploration, data mapping and logical data modelling, reporting &
integration initiatives on Cloud platforms such as GCP
- Creating functional and technical documentation (data integration architecture
documentation, data testing plans)
- Design and develop a reporting user experience
- Conduct Gap Analysis

Skills and Experience:

- Degree Educated in Computer Science / Engineering
- At least 5-7 years experience in Data and Analytics
- Insurance experience is highly-desirable
- Strong Cloud Data Solutions experience - GCP, SQL and either Python or R
- Experience with Data Mining and exploration, AI/ML a bonus
- Experience with Data Governance - Master Data Management and Data Quality
