We are looking for a Document Controller with a unique blend of skills, ideally suited for someone with a Paralegal background and a keen interest in document review and dispute resolution. This is not your typical Document Controller role; it is designed for individuals who have experience in contract work, particularly in construction claims, and who are investigative by nature with an interest in construction law.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Conduct extensive fact-finding, including locating documents and records.
  • Organize electronic files into a structured format for claim summarization.
  • Support the review and preparation of court case documents.
  • Collate high volumes of information and utilize search tools effectively.
  • Work with various shared file systems and document control software.
  • Maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience in contract work, specifically in construction claims.
  • Investigative mindset with an interest in construction law.
  • IT savvy with experience working with shared file systems.
  • Familiarity with Viewpoint document control is preferred but not essential.
  • Legal qualifications will be advantageous.
  • Ability to work both in-office and remotely with a flexible approach.
