Our client is looking for a Chef de Partie to join their team. This role requires strong culinary skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Key Responsibilities:- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and specifications, ensuring quality and presentation meet the establishment's standards.
- Station Management: Oversee a specific section (e.g., pastry, grill, sauté) and manage all aspects of that station during service.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service and maintain a positive working environment.
- Inventory Control: Assist in managing stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste.
- Training: Train and mentor junior kitchen staff and apprentices, providing guidance on techniques and safety standards.
- Quality Control: Monitor food quality and portion sizes to ensure consistency and compliance with health regulations.
- Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to hygiene and safety standards.
- Experience: Proven experience in a similar role within a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Culinary Skills: Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and culinary skills; formal culinary education is a plus.
