An amazing opportunity has arisen for a talented Chef de Partie with experience in 5-star luxury hotels or a 3-rosette standard establishment to join our kitchen team at the Iconic Gore Hotel. As a Chef de Partie, you will support our 190 Queen's Gate restaurant, which combines British culinary tradition with contemporary flavours to offer the ultimate Made-in-UK dining experience.
You will have the opportunity to work closely with our talented and multiple-awarded Head Chef, Frederick Foster. Among his awards, we can mention the Roux Scholarship, the National Chef of the Year award, and the Master of Culinary Arts, as well as a few television appearances, including The MasterChef TV show.
The Collezione consists of the groups top thirteen luxury five- and four-star hotels, located in the heart of New York, Paris, London, Milan, Trieste, and Venice. Each hotel has a distinct charm, embodying the local culture while sharing the Italian spirit, creativity, passion, and high level of service that encapsulate the whole group. Family-style management and a caring and considerate approach to our staff are the philosophies at The Gore (part of Starhotels Collezione).
Chef de Partie duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Ensure that the production, preparation, and presentation of food are of the highest quality at all times.
- Ensuring you have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety
- Assisting in all areas of the kitchen for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
- Ensuring the kitchen areas are clean and tidy
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
The successful candidates will be able to demonstrate:
Proven track record as a Chef de Partie in Restaurants or Hotels
Great organisation and communication skills
Positive attitude and enthusiasm to succeed within a professional team
Passion for developing junior members of kitchen
