At Taka Marylebone Japanese Restaurant, We are small Kitchen Team, looking for a dedicated, organized and hard-working chef to join the highly skilled team at Taka Marylebone.


The ideal candidate will be passionate in the art of making Dishes following Recipes and ideally has previous experience working with Japanese Cuisine specialized in Hot Kitchen Tempura/Robata Grill.

Your main duties will be;
  • Ingredient preparation
  • Food hygiene and HACCP
  • Cleaning and organsiation of stores
  • Cooking and plating
  • Supporting other chefs at service by restocking and cleaning
  • Support Chef to prepare Staff Meal

Other Job Duties:

  • Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
  • Follow recipes and presentation specifications
  • Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
  • Maintain a clean working station whilst adhering to health & safety standards
  • Assist with the cleaning and organisation of kitchen and equipment
  • Restock items as needed throughout the shift
  • Adhere to all food hygiene & safety standards

Additional Duties:

  • Recording food temperatures
  • Recording fridge temperatures
  • Carrying out checks and cleaning schedules
Permanent, full-time, 48 hours per week contract Tuesday-Saturday.
