As the Group Senior Sous Chef, you will play a key role in supporting the Head Chefs across multiple sites, ensuring that each kitchen delivers consistent, high-quality dishes that showcase seasonal ingredients and innovative techniques. About the job:

  • Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations across multiple gastro pub locations, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop kitchen teams, fostering a positive and professional working environment.
  • Work closely with the Executive Chef to develop and refine seasonal menus, with a focus on modern British cuisine.
  • Ensure strict compliance with health and safety, food hygiene, and kitchen sanitation standards.
  • Manage stock levels, food cost controls, and supplier relationships, optimizing operational efficiency.
  • Support in the recruitment, training, and development of junior chefs and kitchen staff.
  • Be a driving force behind maintaining our reputation for fine dining in a casual yet elevated setting.

About you:

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Sous Chef, ideally within high-end restaurants or fine dining establishments.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire teams across multiple locations.
  • Passionate about using seasonal and local ingredients, with a creative approach to menu development.
  • Solid knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and health standards.
