About Us:
The Black Farmer Farmshop is expanding! We're bringing our passion for fresh, local produce to a brand new location in Television Centre, White City. With a fully equipped kitchen and a focus on quality, we're looking for a talented and ambitious Head Chef/Cook to lead our exciting new venture.
The Role:
- Oversee all catering operations for our new White City Farmshop and existing Brixton Market location.
- Create delicious sandwiches, ready meals, and hot and cold food-to-go options using fresh, seasonal ingredients.
- Cater for private events, from intimate gatherings to larger celebrations.
- Develop exciting menus for our dark kitchen, delivering to a wide audience through platforms like Deliveroo, Just Eat, and Uber Eats.
- Manage and train kitchen staff, ensuring high standards of food hygiene and safety.
- Play a key role in the future expansion of The Black Farmer Farmshop brand across London.
About You:
- You're a passionate and creative chef/cook with a proven track record in catering.
- You have experience in menu development, food preparation, and kitchen management.
- You're excited by the challenge of building a new catering operation from the ground up.
- You're comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have excellent communication skills.
