We are currently recruiting a Head Chef to be a part of our main Culinary Heartbeat of the Hotel, the divine Quadrato Restaurant Kitchen Department.

Key qualities we are looking from the Head Chef:
As a member of the Hotel Head of Department Management team, the Head Chef will lead the Quadrato Restaurant Kitchen Department and the Hotel Kitchen Outlets to achieve the highest standards of food production intertwined with ensuring that our impeccable Italian Dishes are cooked and presented to absolute perfection for our valuable Guests.
The main areas of responsibility is to manage the Kitchen brigade with driving consistency and maintaining the Hotel ethos of having a strong and Impeccably Guest focused, performance driven quality culture with focus upon culinary excellence, which in conjunction with the Food and Beverage Manager, fully complying to Health and Safety, and Food Safety Compliancy throughout the Operational Departments in the Hotel.
The ideal candidate will have the following Skills and Knowledge:
Proven experience as a Head Chef in a Central London 5* Luxury Hotel (Independent 5* Luxury Hotel is a plus!) with leading a team of highly skilled Kitchen Bridge.
Experience of working in Food and Beverage Banqueting Functions (absolute must!), delivering exceptional elegant dishes to large corporate and well known acclaimed Sports Clubs Personnel.
A strong track record of achieving and maintaining accolades such as AA Rosettes.
Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor a diverse team of skilled Kitchen Bridge of Chefs.
Passion for fresh, divine Italian Cuisine intertwined with cooking a selection of adventurous dishes with a full commitment to sustainability and local sourcing.
Exemplary organisational and time-management skills, with a proactive and forward-thinking approach.
Creativity and innovation to drive menu development and elevate the dining experience.
A solid understanding of kitchen financials, including budgeting, Kitchen Payroll and cost control.
The main responsibilities for this role would include:
Overseeing preparation and timely delivery of food for all outlets and services including breakfast, afternoon tea, bars, meetings events, room service.
Leadership of the Kitchen team, including coaching and training colleagues in food production.
Creating and updating the Kitchen Departmental Standard Operating Procedures and Policies.
Ensuring stock is properly rotated and products are ordered in time from our various suppliers with attention paid to stock levels.
Management, development and costing of menus.
Manage the review, selection, determination of specifications and pricing of proposed menus.
New recipe development and product testing.
Deliver consistent food standards and quality across all areas.
Monitor guest satisfaction and develop strategies to improve food quality.
Achieve food budget cost of sales, ensuring minimum wastage.
Ensure Kitchen complies with all current Health and Safety legislation and Food Hygiene legislation.
Be energetic and have a friendly disposition, strong interpersonal skills and a good team player.
