Jones & Sons - the restaurant behind the hit film Boiling Point - is a multi-platform hospitality company that has been operating for over 11 years and comprises of:


- 180 cover restaurant with courtyard and private dining room in Hackney


- 160 cover restaurant with terrace & events space in South Woodford


- Outside catering delivery division serving food daily to TV and Film, Fashion & Photography Studios


- 3 Mobile Location Catering trucks that serve the TV & Film Industry


- A cafe in a prominent London Film Studio location


After having the same Head Chef for 12 years we are now looking for someone new to take over the restaurant division for Jones & Sons. We are looking for someone that has multi site experience, who is committed to producing high quality dishes and carrying on the reputation the business has built up over the past 12 years.


Some of your duties as a Head Chef include (but are not limited to):

- Writing seasonal breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus, and preparing food for both sites


- Leading a team of chefs, ensuring the team is producing high-quality food


- Liaising with the FOH staff, ensuring staff are providing a high-quality service


- Managing our stock, forecasting, and utilising ordering systems with existing suppliers


- Reducing food waste by ulitising all produce across the different concepts we do as a business


- Carry out all kitchen opening & closing procedures


- Maintaining health and safety standards in the kitchens


You will have the following skills:


- A genuine passion for food and customer experience


- Be an all-around team player


- Innovation and passion for great food with exceptional attention to detail


- Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment


Successful candidates will be invited to interview, asked to draft a seasonal menu, and perform a trial cook at our Hackney restaurant.
