Chef De Partie Pastry
We have a rare opportunity available to join our competitive pastry department here at Shangri-La The Shard, London. Members of our pastry department will have a passion for pastry and confectionary, a love of cooking, and the desire to grow as a chef. You will maintain highest standard of all food preparation and service in the pastry kitchens. You will be responsible for maintaining food safety and hygiene practices. You will adopt and maintain a sound professional knowledge on all aspects related to the operation and position.
What were looking for:
Experience in a comparative role in a 5-Star Hotel or Michelin Restaurant
Experience in high-quality small banquet operations
Professional culinary education
Diplomas and certificates in the culinary arts
Knowledge of hotel operations and processes, especially luxury, 5 Star Hotels
Flexibility, reliability, and adaptability
Oral and written fluency in English
Confidence in multitasking in a fast-paced, high-expectations environment
Passion for food and great attention to detail
Creativity and an impressive portfolio
