Account Manager (Structural Engineering Software)

My client is seeking a Sales Engineer to join a dynamic team in the structural engineering software industry. This role is an exciting opportunity to innovate in construction and contribute to global safety. You will work closely with potential customers, demonstrate our solutions, and develop relationships with Consulting Engineering practices and Steel Fabricators to create mindshare and generate demand for our solutions.

Day to Day of the Role:

  • Handle incoming requests and work with leads to generate opportunities.
  • Arrange meetings and discussions with prospects and customers.
  • Demonstrate our software solutions to prospects.
  • Manage and control the sales process to achieve a predictable pipeline from prospecting, qualifying, management, and sales closure.
  • Maintain good customer relationships and service to attain excellent customer satisfaction and renewal business.
  • Obtain customer feedback valuable for product improvement and communicate this with our development team.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience within engineering or software 
  • Strong presentation skills, both written and oral.
  • Commercial awareness.
  • Experience in construction and/or a sales role is an added advantage.
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and initiative-driven with the confidence to fit quickly into a team
