Area to be covered: South - based South EastRemuneration: £45,000-£50,000 Neg. + £10,000-£15,000 uncapped commission Benefits: £400 per month car allowance and benefits The role of the Area Sales Manager - Window and Door Hardware will involve:

  • Field sales position selling fire door inspections, maintenance and installations
  • Selling to end users, local authorise, main contractors, customers within; private residential, high rise local authorities, office & commercial, schools, care homes, hotels, historic buildings and the NHS
  • In addition selling directly, our client is looking to develop new markets by selling into surveyors, main contractors and some local authorities
  • Our client wants you to focus on framework partnerships in place with the dedicated contractors that work on student accommodation projects
  • Tasked with brining in circa £1m
  • Order values can vary from £2k for a single door up to £500k with an average order value of approx. £100k

The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager - Window and Door Hardware with:

  • 3 years+ field sales experience from within the doors, joinery industry & fire stopping
  • Must have sold into end users, main contractors & surveyors such as; private residential, high rise, local Authorities, office & commercial, schools, care homes, hotels, historic buildings and the NHS
  • New business hunter (ability to generate and engage with business partners to build new business)
  • Open to both product and service led field sales backgrounds
  • Autonomous in nature
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to execute an effective sales strategy
