Remuneration: £46,000 + £9,500 bonus Benefits: Audi A4 Saloon Sport Edition and comprehensive benefits packageThe role of the Area Sales Manager - Garage & Front Doors will involve:
- Area Sales Manager position selling a comprehensive range of high quality manufactured range of garage and front doors for example: up & over doors, sliding doors, roller doors, front doors
- All of your time will be spent selling into national merchants, regional merchants, independent merchants, buying groups, developers, specialist garage & door merchants and wholesalers such as: Elliots, Travis Perkins & Jewson
- Inheriting a patch currently turning £3m-£4m
- Dealing with order values ranging from around £1k - £60k
- Majority of your time will be spent managing existing accounts, with the remaining portion spent generating new business relationships
- Organising your own diary and visits in order to develop relationships with merchants
- Liaising with internal support staff and marketing team to maximise sales within your territory
- Will require on average 1 night away a week
The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager - Garage & Front Doors with:
- Must have field based sales within the construction industry
- Will consider any building material / product background
- Must have a track record of working for or selling to builders merchants whether it be; national merchants, independent merchants, specialist merchants and ideally specialist wholesalers
- Would consider someone working in a merchant looking to step into field sales
- Experience of developing long term relationships with clients
- Track record of stability within your career
- Genuine 'get up and go’ work ethic
- Results orientated, hungry and enthusiastic
