An exciting sales role has become available with a leading global manufacturer of high-tech catering equipment.

As a Business Development Manager, the role involves proactively identifying and prospecting end user customers, utilizing available resources and existing dealer network relationships to maintain current business and explore new opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research, identify, and develop new opportunities.
  • Collaborate with existing networks and associations to formulate strategies for acquiring new business.
  • Manage and grow existing accounts.
  • Implement channel strategies.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Demonstrated sales experience in catering equipment channels, preferably with a Certified Foodservice Professional (CFSP) qualification.
  • Proven track record in sales development, particularly with national catering equipment customers.
  • Familiarity with commercial kitchen designers/specifiers and key-end user customers.
  • Driven to achieve objectives and targets.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the food service industry and product trends.
  • Understanding of customer needs and competitor landscapes.
  • Strong commercial acumen.
  • Proficient in building relationships at all customer levels.
  • Excellent self-presentation and communication skills.
  • Candidates will ideally be based in Southern England but strong candidates further North will be considered.
