Business Development Manager (experience required)

3-4 years previous Sales Development experience is essential

Our client is an analytics expert, delivering actionable insights for clients across a range of industry sectors!

They are now looking for an experienced candidate to join their sales team as a Business Development Manager and drive new business.

You will bring your expertise and become the go-to-person when identifying and strategising opportunities for business growth within a specified sector.

Role:

  • Follow up on inbound enquiries generated through marketing channels
  • Recommend products to clients based on their specific needs and desires
  • Use upselling techniques to increase the size of orders and encourage prospects to try out newly developed products
  • Report on and manage pipeline conversions across the sales funnel from inquiry to close
  • Define and implement sales lead generation procedures across the sales organisation
  • Attend major conferences, networking events and dates within the social calendar to drive new business
  • Evaluate customer requirements and build business cases for your specific verticals needs and wants
  • Support management in contract development, customer negotiations and product enhancements

Requirements:

  • 3-4 years previous Sales Development experience (essential)
  • Prior experience of handling sales and client relationships
  • Commercially minded, able to articulate and present solutions
  • Works well under pressure
  • Self-motivated, with a strong desire to succeed
  • Resilient and tenacious, able to work at pace and adapt to change
