What You Can Expect

Main Responsibilities as a Business Development Manager

  • Developing strategic plans to drive sales growth and achieve revenue goals.
  • Proactively seeking new business opportunities through relationship building and market research.
  • Working with Senior Sales Lead to deliver a comprehensive sales strategy.
  • Representing the business at trade events with the focus on generating leads.
  • Cultivating strong client relationships to foster loyalty and referrals.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement effective sales and marketing campaigns to drive inbound leads.
  • Working with an SDR to coach them on ideal customer profiles for prospecting purposes.
  • Monitoring industry trends and competitors’ activities to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Preparing sales presentations and leading prospective client meetings.
  • Providing regular updates on sales performance and pipeline activity.
  • Closing deals and negotiating contracts to maximise revenue and customer acquisition.
  • Maintain new business opportunity activity and sales data on Salesforce and prepare reports on account status.

Core Experience, Skills, and Qualifications

  • *CANDIDATES MUST BE BASED IN THE UK*
  • 5 years of experience selling SOC/SIEM MSSP solutions in the private sector.
  • Track record exceeding annual sales targets.
  • Experienced in collaborating with SDR/BDR’s to generate leads and convert into sales.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and highly organised.
  • Demonstrated high performance both within a team and individually.
  • Background working in Cybersecurity, SAAS or Technology space.
