We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join a global leader in the event industry. In this fast-paced, results-driven role, you'll be responsible for selling premium exhibition space and event sponsorships to key clients across Europe. You will play a key part in building and nurturing long-term business relationships, engaging with senior decision-makers, and contributing to the expansion of large-scale industry events. What will this role include?

  • Selling high-value exhibition space and marketing packages to top-tier clients at leading industry events
  • Generating interest through proactive telephone sales, followed by face-to-face meetings or follow-ups to close deals
  • Confidently engaging and negotiating with senior decision-makers in the energy and sustainability sectors
  • Working closely with the team to develop and launch innovative new projects and formats
  • Leveraging social media to identify and connect with potential business leads

The ideal candidate will have/ be:

  • Possess excellent communication skills
  • Be a collaborative team player and an effective sales leader
  • Demonstrate the ability to source new business through competitors, events, and online channels
  • Cultivate and expand both new and existing relationships with direct clients and agencies
  • Meet call and meeting targets consistently
  • Manage the full sales process, from lead generation to client relationship management
  • Able to work efficiently and meet deadlines
