Role Overview

The Channel Manager will play a pivotal role in managing and expanding relationships with telecoms resellers and MSPs across the UK. This is a strategic position focused on developing the partner ecosystem, driving revenue growth, and delivering an outstanding partner experience. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in the telecoms channel, a strong industry network, and a track record of building successful partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

Partner Recruitment & Development:

  • Identify, onboard, and activate new telecoms reseller and MSP partners.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing partners to maximize collaboration and revenue growth.

Business Development:

  • Create and execute a strategic plan to grow the partner base and achieve revenue targets.
  • Proactively identify and pursue opportunities to upsell and cross-sell within the partner network.

Account Management:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for channel partners, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and engagement.
  • Monitor partner performance and provide ongoing training, tools, and resources to support their success.

Market Strategy & Enablement:

  • Stay ahead of industry trends to identify opportunities and maintain competitive positioning.
  • Work closely with marketing teams to develop go-to-market strategies and partner enablement materials.

Sales Achievement:

  • Consistently meet and exceed channel sales targets.
  • Maintain accurate records of partner activities and sales performance in CRM systems.

Requirements

Experience & Expertise:

  • Ideally a minimum 5 years of experience in a channel management role within the telecoms sector.
  • Proven success in building and growing telecoms reseller and MSP partnerships.

Industry Knowledge:

  • In-depth understanding of the UK telecoms reseller and MSP ecosystem.
  • A strong network of industry contacts, particularly decision-makers within the channel.

Skills & Attributes:

  • Exceptional relationship management, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and implement effective strategies.
  • Proficient in CRM tools and comfortable generating detailed sales reports.
