Your new companyI am partnering with a leading recruitment agency in London. As they continue to expand, they are looking for an experienced CMO to shape and lead their marketing strategy, strengthen their brand, and support ambitious growth plans.Your new roleBased full-time in their central London offices, this role is both strategic and operational. You will be reporting to the CEO and will be fully accountable at board level for shaping, driving and delivering the overall brand, positioning, marketing, communications and content strategy of the company across all of their markets. You will also play a critical part in supporting the growth and success of the business by driving valuable customer acquisition and retention, optimising target candidate engagement and maximising brand presence through innovative and performance-driven marketing initiatives. Main responsibilities will include:

  • Lead creative marketing initiatives that differentiate the business in a competitive marketplace, develop and protect the brand identity, ensuring it remains at the forefront of industry trends while reflecting our values and goals.
  • Drive brand awareness and lead generation efforts to support the company's mission
  • Oversee all marketing activities, including digital marketing, social media, content, and events.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team.
  • Collaborate with other leadership team members to align marketing initiatives with overall company strategy.
  • Utilise analytics to track and measure campaign success, adapting strategies to optimise performance.
  • Be an influential voice on the leadership board, driving insight and innovation.

What you'll need to succeed

  • 10+ years of experience in marketing leadership roles in a competitive sales environment, ideally with exposure to both the B2B and B2C sectors.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful brand and positioning strategies
  • Experience in both digital and traditional marketing channels, including the use of automation to enhance customer journeys and engagement
  • Data-driven approach with experience of using analytics tools to measure and optimise campaign performance
  • Understand and nurture customer-centric innovation that supports the achievement of business objectives and strategy
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels, internally and externally
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a small multidisciplinary team
  • Commercially minded with strong problem-solving and data-driven decision-making skills
