Simon Acres Recruitment are working with a well-established KBB manufacturer, who is seeking an experienced Contracts Business Development Manager.

Salary: Paying upwards of £50,000 basic (DOE), plus bonus and car allowance.

Location: UK field and remote based.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week).

This is an exciting opportunity for a driven and experiencedbusiness development professional within the contract kitchen market. You will be well-connected with a network of contacts within the contract kitchen market, with significant experience in German kitchen sales and contracts, and thrive on building relationships and identifying new opportunities.

Key responsibilities:

  • Identifying and connecting with potential clients.
  • Selling kitchens into the contracts market.
  • Prospecting, building, and developing new business
  • Working closely with house builders, high-rise and private developers.
  • Building strong business relationships.
  • Establishing and maintaining partnerships.
  • Contributing to strategy for market expansion.
  • Reporting into the Contracts Director.
  • Remote based with regular UK travel including to Head Office and some internal travel.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven track record within field sales - selling kitchens into private developers.
  • Experience of dealing with house builders, high-rise and private developers.
  • Sales Account Management experience (specifically within German kitchens).
  • Ability to build and strengthen customer relationships.
  • Strong network and relationships within the contract market.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a drive for success.
  • Ability to demonstrate a tenacious and resilient mindset.
  • Be able to manage time and priorities effectively.
  • Must hold a valid and clean driving licence.
  • Flexible with business travel requirements.
