Our client, a travel and service industry leader, is seeking a Brand Leader with a proven track record in brand platform development and cross-functional team engagement (e.g., HR, Operations, Marketing). The focus is split between Strategy and operations under Brand.

This strategic role will involve managing key brand initiatives, making insights-driven recommendations, and engaging internal stakeholders who may not be familiar with branding terminology. The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Marketing to align on strategic goals.

Role: FTC covering maternity until September 2025 (potential for extension pending permanent incumbent plans)

Base: London with travel to other European offices.

A key responsibility will be confidently leading engagement on brand-related topics, driving decisions, and ensuring the brand vision is well-communicated and understood across all levels. The ideal candidate will be able to build trust and gain buy-in from stakeholders while managing complex brand strategy discussions.

Requirements:

  • Preference for someone with stronger strategic experience rather than a focus on asset production. You must have a solid understanding of brand strategy and practical experience working with agencies and cross-functional teams.
  • 10+ years of experience, ideally working on the client side due to the need to navigate internal politics. However, agency experience is also considered, especially if you have worked with high-profile clients in brand consultancy or strategic brand roles.
  • Fluency in French is not essential but would be a plus. We are specifically looking for someone who can handle the strategic elements of the role, rather than someone focused on client management or account director roles. You will have been a Head of Brand / Brand Senior leadership role
  • Strong experience in service-led brand strategy, ideally in the travel or service industries, as opposed to product-focused brands.
