Our client, a leading global manufacturing company, is looking for a motivated International Account Manager to join their Global Markets Group in Euston, London. FMCG experience is a plus, but we welcome candidates from any sector with distribution experience ready for an international role!
About the Role:As an International Account Manager, you'll play a key role in expanding business across North & Eastern Europe and Turkey. You'll manage distributor relationships, develop new markets, and drive sales growth, with frequent international travel to strengthen partnerships.
What You'll Do:Business Development & Distributor Management- Identify and onboard new distribution partners to grow key markets.
- Manage and motivate existing distributors, ensuring they achieve sales and profit targets.
- Monitor in-market sales and stock levels, ensuring alignment with forecasts and budgets.
- Develop and execute marketing plans with distributors, ensuring alignment with brand strategy.
- Support new product launches (NPDs) and ensure effective implementation of funded marketing activities.
- Collaborate with internal Brand Managers to drive market growth.
- Manage Customer P&Ls, prepare profit forecasts, and ensure market profitability.
- Allocate and monitor marketing budgets, ensuring transparency in expenditures.
- Work closely with Export Customer Service to ensure timely order fulfilment.
- Input monthly demand forecasts to ensure supply chain efficiency.
- National account management experience-some exposure to international markets is a plus.
- Experience working with distributors (FMCG experience is ideal but not essential).
- A self-starter with a commercial mindset, able to build strong relationships with distributors and internal teams.
- A strong communicator with cultural awareness, comfortable working across multiple markets.
- Analytical and financially savvy, with experience managing P&Ls and budgets.
- Willing to travel internationally, including overnight stays, to develop key partnerships.
