£85,000 basic salary with £110,000 OTE (Negotiable for a the right person)

Our client, a fast paced and high growth company, is the UK’s leading Hospitality and Leisure Group.
Having a presence of award winning venues across the UK, this high performing company invest heavily in their marketing strategy and now need a top performer and innovative marketer to take charge of their marketing function and drive it to new heights.
This role is pivotal in the next phase of the company’s growth. As the Head of Marketing you will lead the strategic development and hands-on delivery of all marketing and digital initiatives that drive guest acquisition, retention, and brand awareness across all venues.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Campaign Performance & CRM Integration
- Own the end-to-end performance marketing strategy (Google, Meta, SMS, Email).
- Ensure accurate attribution and tracking of all marketing campaigns through CRM integration.
- Oversee CRM and analytics alignment to measure ROI effectively.
Audience Engagement & Personalisation
- Develop and execute hyper-targeted campaigns that resonate with local audiences and specific venue demographics.
- Lead segmentation strategy across all marketing channels (email, ads, organic).
- Champion personalisation in marketing messages to improve engagement and conversion rates.
Paid Media & Budget Oversight
- Manage a multi-city, multi-channel media budget (£30k+ monthly).
- Oversee ad spend distribution across campaigns and locations, ensuring fair allocation and optimal ROI.
- Lead in-house management of Google Ads.
Content Strategy & Execution
- Develop a high-quality content strategy with a focus on short-form video, visual storytelling, and performance-driven creative.
- Manage internal and freelance content creators (e.g., reels, ad videos, static content).
- Ensure creative aligns with brand tone and guest preferences.
Supplier-Funded Campaigns
- Collaborate with supplier partners to launch and track co-branded, funded marketing campaigns.
- Produce forecasts and reports to support funding applications and ROI tracking.
Competitor Intelligence & Market Strategy
- Regularly monitor and assess competitor marketing activity and market trends.
- Use insights to adjust strategy, differentiate the brand, and identify emerging opportunities.
Tools & Innovation
- Leverage AI tools (e.g., Google Gemini, ChatGPT) to enhance content production and campaign planning.
- Explore and implement digital innovations to improve customer journey, from booking to conversion.
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead and mentor a high-performing digital marketing team.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Operations, and IT.
- Recruit, onboard, and develop marketing talent in line with company growth.
Your Background & Skill:
- Proven experience in a senior digital marketing role within a multi-site consumer-facing business (hospitality/retail/events ideally).
- Strong grasp of paid media platforms (Google Ads, Meta), CRM systems, email marketing, and performance analytics.
- Hands-on experience managing marketing budgets and delivering measurable ROI.
- Solid understanding of attribution, tracking, and analytics tools (e.g., GA4, Hyros, Meta Events Manager).
- Strong leadership, team-building, and stakeholder management skills.
- Creative mindset with the ability to brief and critique visual and written content.
- Comfortable using AI and automation tools for content and campaign optimisation.
