Building on this legacy, IQPC has launched IQPC Exhibitions, a brand-new branch of the business based in our new Bristol office. This division is specifically focused on developing and running innovative, tech-focused exhibitions designed to bring together global business leaders, suppliers, and buyers to drive sales, strengthen supply chain relationships, and showcase cutting-edge products and solutions.

IQPC leverages a global research base of best practices and customers to produce an unrivalled portfolio of market leading must attend events in every industry.

The Position

The Exhibition Sales Manager will be responsible for securing sponsorship and exhibition revenue on our new portfolio of exhibitions. You will be allocated one of our cutting-edge new events in a fast-growth tech market and become fluent in the trends affecting the value-chain. Through a combination of phone, email and face to face meetings, you will develop your personal network of exhibitor and sponsor targets, working alongside the Event Director to achieve the commercial targets on the show. You will work closely with your colleagues in marketing, operations and content to ensure the event proposition is on point and reflects the needs of the market.

Exhibition Sales Executive Requirements

  • Maintain a thorough understanding of our events, the industry and the competitors
  • Maintain regular contact with clients and formulate innovative, creative and profitable solutions for their business
  • Maintain close liaison with the marketing, production and operations teams in order to ensure the delivery of successful customer focused events
  • Identify potential customers from competitive media, events and from other business sources

The Ideal Candidate

  • A highly ambitious individual who is looking to develop their career in sales
  • Experience in customer facing roles (ideally sales)
  • Business acumen and strong commercial awareness
  • Ability to communicate with a wide range of clients at all levels
  • A desire to develop themselves as a sales professional
