Experience with marketing is not an essential requirement for this role as training will be offered. This is a great opportunity to move into a marketing role if you’re a Korean speaker with operations or commercial experience gained within container shipping.

Main Purpose of the Role
Working within the Trade and Marketing Department and reporting to the Commercial Director, the core roles include Market Intelligence, Regulatory & Compliance, Marketing, e-Biz & Web Support, Meetings & Reports, KPI Performance, Project Management and any other ad-hoc tasks as deemed appropriate by the HQ Commercial Director & HQ Managing Director.
Duties and Responsibilities of the Marketing Manager include but not limited to:
Marketing:
- Setting KPI’s
- Setting overall London HQ KPI
- Monitoring London HQ KPI
- Setting Office wise KPI
- Monitoring Office wise KPI
Projection:
- Weekly Projection: EU B/H, TAS H/H TEU & M/Rate projection(3Month Forecast)
- Yearly Projection: EU B/H, TAS H/H TEU & M/Rate projection(1Year Forecast)
Budget Planning:
- Budget plan for next year(EU B/H, TAS H/H) - Two Types of Budget plan
- Monitoring performance comparing with Budget plan(EU B/H, TAS H/H) - Two Types of Budget plan
- Long-Mid term Budget plan
Head Office Inquiries:
- Responding to every inquiry from Head office *example : Operational issue which requires Commercial ide( Block Train, Feeder Network, Terminal)
- Service product issue/ Special/RF issue/Agency issue/System issue
Meeting:
- Prepare for Strategy meeting and meeting material(Summer & Winter)
- Prepare for CEO meeting and meeting material
- Prepare for Monthly principal meeting with Head office and meeting material
- Prepare for Europe sales meeting and meeting material
To Be Considered:
- Be able to speak fluent Korean is essential
- Knowledge of liner shipping industry best practices is essential
- Marketing experience is preferred but no essential
- MS office, especially advanced level of Excel & Power Point
- Outstanding organisational skills and leadership skills
- Commercially and Operationally minded
- Good facilitation, presentational and analytical skills.
- Ability to deliver results on time, on budget, and to the very highest standards.
- Ability to quickly gain the technical, behavioural and contextual elements of a project.
