MICE Sales Executive - Large Events

Our client in the hospitality sector are seeking a full time MICE Sales Executive (Large Events) based in London. Working Proactive and Reactive.

Working 39hours a week with an impressive salary of up to £35,000 per annum DOE.

As a MICE Sales Executive you will be responsible for large events (100 or more pax). Convert bookings and planning events will be a big part of this role. Liaising with relevant hotel departments. Whilst maintaining a professional and friendly approach.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all guests are satisfied and you have gone above and beyond.
  • A MICE Sales Executive will generate good relationships with guests and colleagues.
  • To be fully confident with the function of the hotel.
  • Check availability, create quotes, convert and plan events
  • Ability to liaise with other departments such as Sales, Accounts, Marketing etc. to maximise revenue and ensure suitable contracts and payment plans are agreed.
  • The MICE Sales Executive is responsible for invoicing clients correctly
  • Attend necessary site visits requested by client
  • Prepare weekly function sheet schedules, and complete general admin duties.
  • Aid in smaller event planning also and carry out any other duties that may be needed.

Requirements:

  • Experience in this role before especially 'reactive'
  • Excellent communication, presentation & interpersonal skills - A strong team player
  • Self-motivated and good organisational skill
  • Experience in the following systems is preferred: Opera, Delphi FDC, Lanyon/Cvent
  • Full right to work in the UK
