I’m working with a Crypto/Gaming brand based in London who are looking to add a PPC Manager to the team, due to an increased workload. They have had a great 2024 (everyone received a full bonus) and this role is an expansion role focused on growing their customer base in the EU, they are currently in multiple regions such as the UK, EU, US and South America.
This role will be responsible for PPC on a European basis managing a global budget of over 5 million. The plan is to have a dedicated EU team but right now they are looking for a dedicated person who will be supported by the wider team of 5.. They manage all Performance Marketing inhouse and are wanting to create a centre of excellence when it comes to performance marketing.
The brand is a well-established player in the online gaming world and fast becoming the brand of choice, over the last couple of years, they have developed a loyal customer base who engages with the way they do business. They are looking hire a PPC Manager to focus on their most critical channel. The PPC team will act as an internal agency and work with stakeholders to define and deliver performance marketing plans. They have a multi-million-pound budget focused on the UK, Spain, Mexico, Sweden, Canada, and plans to enter many new markets.
The role is going to be focused on a mix of hands on PPC campaigns as well as providing strategic recommendations on how to improve campaigns. Outside of the day-to-day management of PPC campaigns, the role will also have the opportunity to get involved with the wider digital marketing strategy and work directly with the Head of Performance Marketing to increase customer acquisition. They are looking for a future leader who is keen to learn and given their last 3 years of growth a Head of PPC role will definitely be a future goal for this role.
The role is based in London and will be required to be in the office three days a week. The client has a no video call rule so anytime you’re in the office it will be for something team-related not a Zoom call in a new location.
Role responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of comprehensive paid search strategies across Google Ads, Bing Ads, ASA, and UAC platforms. (Experience of Apple Search or Google Search ads is preferred)
- Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, analytics, and creative, to understand business objectives and translate them into actionable PPC initiatives.
- Conduct in-depth keyword research, ad copywriting, and ad extension optimization to enhance campaign performance. Ensure continuous monitoring and analysis of campaign metrics, such as CTR, CPC, and conversion rates, to identify and act on optimization opportunities.
- Implement A/B tests and other experimentation methodologies to refine targeting and messaging strategies, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
- Assist in the budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes to ensure PPC efforts align with overall marketing goals and financial targets.
- Collaborate with the marketing analytics team to track, measure, and report on campaign effectiveness and ROI. Utilize data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions and adjustments.
The PPC Manager role requires the following experience:
- Proven experience as a Senior PPC Executive or similar role, with a strong understanding of paid search strategies and platforms.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in Google Ads, Bing Ads, ASA, UAC – Defined experience in one or more listed is preferred..
- Experience with A/B testing and other experimentation methodologies.
- Knowledge of industry trends, algorithm updates, and new advertising features.
- Ability to manage budgets and forecasting processes effectively.
