My client provides investment administration and management services for large, UK Pensions schemes. The business has seen steady growth in recent years and counts some of the largest DC schemes in the UK among their clients, with responsibility for £24billion+ AUM.

As new DB, DC and Master Trust clients are on-boarded, they are assigned a dedicated Client Relationship Manager whose primary purpose is to work directly with Trustees and professional advisors, making sure that their needs are understood and supported by front and back-office service delivery teams. Reporting directly to the Commercial Director, the Senior Client Relationship Manager is the 'face’ of the company and trusted partner for their clients.

The CRM will help to retain and develop existing business with our clients; PLEASE NOTE - this is NOT a quota-carrying position and bonus is based on individual KPI’s, not revenue.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

  • Act as the main point of contact for client relationships, supporting them to fully understand, and use, administration and platform services
  • Support the development of strategic relationships with clients; monitoring service levels alongside supporting further business development opportunities
  • Deliver dedicated support for client driven initiatives, taking the lead on projects and engaging the relevant client teams to deliver against project objectives
  • Provide technical support to clients
  • Engage with other teams to increase effectiveness and efficiency of systems and processes to improve the client experience
  • Support the provision of appropriate frameworks and controls to ensure adherence to procedures and policies
  • Foster a spirit of teamwork and unity within the team and between departments

Qualifications, Experience, Skills:

  • 5+ years solid, demonstrable, relevant experience working within the UK pension industry
  • Ideally, IMC or CFA qualification - or making progress towards
  • Strong knowledge of the UK pensions market and regulatory environment
  • Clear communication style, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to manage client expectations to meet client needs and business demands
  • Experience dealing confidently and professionally with senior management and other key business stakeholders
  • Experience working within an FCA /PRA regulated company is highly desirable
  • Ability to manage increasing levels of responsibilities, deadlines and client/partner relationships
  • Experience of working within, or leading, project teams

Basic salary is in line with sector expectations and is negotiable based on experience. The package includes KPI bonus, Pension, Life Cover and Income Protection.
